Hope you are enjoying your summer despite the heat!
On Sunday, July 14th at 7:00 PM, the Kelowna Buddhist Temple will be hosting a Bon Odori event at 1089 Borden Avenue.
Before the Bon Odori starts, KJLS will be hosting a yo-yo fishing activity from around 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
We hope you can join us and experience the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese summer festival. If you come dressed in a yukata or jinbei, it will add even more to the festive feel!
There will also be a performance of Awa Odori by Suiryu-ren and drumming by Yamabiko Taiko.
Let’s beat the heat together at the Bon Odori!
This is an open event for everyone, so feel free to invite your family and friends!
