Here’s an announcement about an upcoming event on November 30th at the downtown library.
This exciting event will feature communities from various countries sharing their stories, games, and cultural traditions. The Kelowna Japanese Language Society (KJLS) will also be participating!
From KJLS, we’ll have:
- Rie Shiozaki sharing an Ainu story
- Moeka Aoki reading The Crane’s Return of Favor
- Miyu Hayashi reading The Cat Who Lived a Million Times
All stories will be translated into English. After the storytelling, there will be a fun origami folding session for everyone to join!
Bring your family and friends and come enjoy the event!
Participation fee: $5.05 (includes service fees). Tickets must be purchased in advance here. Children under 4 can join for free.
