Japanese Language Lessons for Kids Kelowna

Program Overview

JLL Kids is a Japanese language and culture program for children ages 6–12 who are new to Japanese or have little prior experience. English is used as a support language when needed, so children can learn with confidence from day one.

Through songs, games, stories, crafts, and hands-on cultural activities, students develop foundational skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Japanese. Lessons explore everyday themes such as numbers, family, food, and school life while introducing Japanese traditions and culture in a fun, engaging way.

Our small-group, play-based approach encourages confidence, curiosity, and communication, helping children enjoy learning Japanese at their own pace.
